It's been over 2 years since I last jumped, but the long wait is finally over. I've never jumped the T-11 parachute, so here's to hoping that I don't hit the ground like a sack of rocks later this afternoon.

Hi,
I just found your blog just a few minutes ago. My son is getting deployed to FOB Shank in about a week and I have been trying to learn as much as I can about where he's going to be for the next nine months. He is also a sniper. I just wanted to thank you for what you've written. It has given me a better understanding so I can learn to be supportive in every way possible.
